If you ever visit Oaxaca City, it's all about A.M. Siempre Cafe (always morning, which makes sense because they serve brunch food all day)! I have convinced my husband to return here with me multiple times this week, and we may have to go back for one last encore visit today, which is our last day here. They have the best lattes, Oaxacan hot chocolate, and fresh sandwiches, and it's conveniently the closest cafe/eatery to where we are staying in the Xochimilco Barrio, which is about a 30 minute walk to the Zocalo, or main square. I appreciate the healthier options they offer with fresh bread and produce. The staff has been very nice and welcoming towards us, especially one server/barista who we've asked questions to in developing our Spanish (and she has been a local, friendly face to see throughout the week)! Quiet, relaxing ambiance to hang out, sit, and chat while enjoying coffee and food. The prices are very reasonable, as my chico size latte is $27 pesos and our sandwiches are $30 pesos. I will miss A.M. Siempre Cafe after we leave Oaxaca!
Great coffee and healthy breakfast cooked with organic products. I highly recommend this place for breakfast. They also have good pastries and sadwiches.
This was our second stay at the A.M. Cafe, we came back since we had such a good stay the first time. Rene and Mari run a wonderful cafe and air b&b. They are both very friendly, and warm people, very willing to help with taxi's and other travel arrangements. The cafe itself has a very welcoming atmosphere, and a hard working, capable, friendly staff. The food is delicious and always well presented, and as an extra bonus, in my mind there isn't a better cup of coffee, or fruit smoothie in the whole of Oaxaca. Love the place!
Absolutely amazing place for breakfast. Must try the omelet soufflé! I cannot rave enough about the food and service. Plus, it's amazing value.

This is a beautiful place in a quiet neighborhood. The food is fresh and delicious. The people are friendly. We enjoyed going there for breakfast while visiting Oaxaca.
