Andaz Hyatt in Mayakoba is theee place it's beautiful tranquil original it's nature meets contemporary living at its best with its own eco system to enjoy in any way u like and saving the best for last. The staff the staff the staff I can't say enough to the kindness niceness professional knowledgeable and just plain great energy. This is truly a hidden gem! We literally planned (Thursday afternoon) a weekend getaway (Friday-Sunday) at this amazing resort! From the minute you arrive you drive onto the most beautiful property and then are greeted with such warm hospitality at an absolutely stunning sanctuary. A still water circular pool marking a hidden cenote is filled with black sand and stones tossed in as wishes/offerings of guests to honor the Mayan culture. It is open to the sky above and I was overcome with emotion and it was very peaceful. From there we were given a traditional drink of hibiscus 🌺 water and tequila (other things too but those are the only ones I remember) and taken on a tour of the property. Absolutely breathtaking. The property is perfectly laid out and every single person we encountered employed by the resort displayed true hearts of service. The beach area was so clean with fresh, soft, white sand. Chairs and service was impeccable. The pools are surrounded by lively music and lights after dark. The boat tour of the lagoon was so informative and you can tell caring about the land and nature is top priority even though it was all man made beauty. The wildlife species are bountiful! We didn't get to see the crocodiles and their new babies but I'm sure they were resting in some shade. Food from the restaurants and room service was delicious! And our room.... WOW! Everything was top notch! Incredibly spacious, efficient, cool from the summer heat, and included anything and everything you could want. Even bug spray for the mosquitoes! We had a private balcony pool that we enjoyed VERY much! We were hoping to see some spider monkeys on the lagoon island but they were shy. Our boat captain, Noah, did show us a video of one walking on the property and I've never laughed so hard at a monkey before! It was hysterical! If I could give this place a 10 ⭐️ I would. It was too short of a stay but we will definitely be back AND be telling our friends!

The absolute friendliest and accomodating staff of anywhere I have ever vacationed! The service was fantastic and the rooms and ammenities were perfectly clean and pristine. This is definitely a 5-star hotel/resort and I would highly recommend! :)
Hands down the best experience I’ve had at a resort - the staff is incredibly kind and treat you with amazing service. On my first day I took a guacamole making class with Mariana, who reached out to me the next day and told me she had set up a Mexican cultural experience for me and my mother. I didn’t ask her to do so, she was just kind enough to go above and beyond to make our trip a bit more memorable. We were greeted with hugs/kisses from Magna, Mariana, and Cinthia - we ate, learned, danced, and walked away with gifts to take back home. A big thank you to the staff at Andaz Mayakoba, and already looking forward to my next visit here.

Best resort I’ve ever been to! The people were so friendly and kind always asking if they could get us anything or do anything for us. My daughter was married in Andaz Balam garden and reception in the convention center and was decorated in an amazing way! Loved all of Paola and Linda’s help as wedding coordinators. Loved the bikes, golf carts, Cenote, Golf, food and drinks, beach and toys! It was an awesome experience and we will definitely return. Love that you can use any of the amenities and restaurants at all of the Mayakoba resorts!

The hotel is beautiful but what makes this place special is the employees! We had a medical emergency while there and the staff went beyond the call of duty to make us feel part of a big family. They looked after us even when we were at the hospital, they came to visit, brought food, get well cards etc. Truly amazing!
This is an incredible property and the grounds are absolutely beautiful. What an amazing experience. The hotel staff is friendly and very accommodating. We will definitely return.
Loved this resort from the moment we stepped into the Sanctuary. We loved our Lagoon room and the pools on the lagoon side better than the rooms and the pool on the beach side of the resort. Food was fantastic and there was a good mix of things to do. My only complaint is that we didn't have more time there. Can't wait to go back!
