The first night in Puerto Vallarta on our honeymoon, Kristina Miller Mercer and I visited El Andariego (a restaurant close to our resort). The waiter came out and then immediately said he would be right back. He returned with two shots of tequila for the “honeymooners”. I asked him how he knew that we were on our honeymoon and he stated that our wedding rings were to shiny to have been married very long. The meal was great and the tequila was better. The tequila was actually made by the people that owned the restaurant. We bought a bottle and took it back to North Carolina with us. We have taken a shot every December 12 for the last 19 years to celebrate our anniversary. Unfortunately, the bottle is almost empty but luckily our love for each other is still very full. We hoped to get back there but we have had to postpone the trip. I might have enough in the bottle for one more year. Great memories!
Great restaurant across the street from our hotel Villa Premiere. Dinner was superb--burrito and fish tacos. The little extras were shots of tequila and little cheesy tacos hanging from clothespins on a rack. Best was music from Solomon--beautiful tenor voice as he plays guitar. The next day we went for lunch and the place was full of families eating breakfast at noon. Popular place!
This service here is phenomenal and the food is on point. It's a must.
Had a wonderful dinner and margaritas! Great selection of margaritas, not just your run-of-the-mill kind. Nice atmosphere, thoroughly enjoyed our dinner while watching people pass by on the street. Food and drinks were great and service was wonderful.
