El Sofa cafe is not just a place to get the best cup of coffee in the centro, or a place to get the yummiest breakfast and lunches, but a place to come and feel welcome into a community by owner/operator Amaranta and her neighbors. It is really the best spot to get a much needed hello from a friend, information about what's going on in the city, and a snuggle with tiny adorable dog Habibi. I send everyone there, and I am a total coffee snob!
Best place ever!! Great atmosphere. Friendly staff. Went there two mornings in a row for their green drink. Super fresh fruit/veggie juice. Highly recommend. Would go back there when I visit again.
Very very casual place....but the coffee is the best I have found in PV. Food wonderful also.....staff so friendly.

The best Americano coffee in town. I wish I had discovered it sooner, it's close to my lodging and other coffee house Americanos haven't been as good. Friendly service too.

Excellent place. Reminds me a lot of coffee places in Portland OR and New York where you go to get away and yet meet the most eclectic people. Try the Chai tea

Went there two days in a row! Bruchetta, and bacon and avocado panini is EPIC! Habibi is the cafe's dog he's really cute! Staff is amazing!
