This is an extremely comfortable place to hang out. The food is excellent and there is always wonderful art to enjoy. The trio that plays at lunch time is a treat and there is music Friday and Saturday evenings. If you're anywhere near San Antonio, definitely drop in.
The food, the service, and the ambiance all combine perfectly to make your visit something special. The owner and staff are bilingual, and treat you like you're old friends. Simply wonderful!

This spot has fast become one of my FAVORITE places in an area chock full of good restaurants. The food, Mexican cuisine with a Oaxaca flair (such as enmoladas) is OUTSTANDING, and the owner and the entire waitstaff (many miembros de la familia), are very helpful and attentive. And their coffee, grown in the state of Colima, is MUY RICO!
In addition to all of this goodness, they also have some beautiful artwork on display and available for purchase. I have already bought a painting there by artist Claudette Fara Chalita, and a wall sculpture by Guadalajara-born artist Christina Cardenas. Go for the food but check out the art!
