We had a reservation but our concierge made it for the one in Las Cabos, not San Jose, as we understood. When we went there, they were not able to seat us, since it is a small place. It looked charming and wonderful, so we were disappointed, but the owner, Luis Herrera, came over, apologized, took us to his bar and gave us wine, salad, and a sampling of their signature flounder disk. He was personable, all about our pleasure and was personally involved. He is the epitomy of customer service in the old school way. The bartender was terrific and the sax player for the music was superior and very in tune with the ambiance of the venue. We wound up getting a table ultimately, as luck would have it, but the food quality, the presentation, and the service and attention to detail at this restaurant is beyond comparison. Highly recommend that you don't miss H, and definitely get reservations ahead of time and make sure you are clear that you want the San Jose location.

The best! Felicidades Chef! My Son and Husband are the two 'Luises' so I am of course compromise! Their passion is their work and the have been restaurateurs forever, H is the total dinning experience, lovely atmosphere, great food and always interesting and accommodating host and chef! You will love it!
