This place is a hidden gem in the back of a Cuban cigar shop that only the locals know about. The empanadas are off the hook, their steak has a unique smoky flavor and cooked to perfection, and your crazy not to have at least one of their sangria's.
We live down here and didn't know about this amazing restaurant until recently. The "tomahawk" steak was the best steak I've ever had anywhere in the world. (not cheap but really, really great!)

We ate here twice while visiting in San Jose. My only regret is not being more hungry to eat more food from here. Our first experience is when we stopped in for tacos at lunch time. I had the steak and my boyfriend had the shrimp. We were so pleased with the presentation and the taste we went to this restaurant again for tacos for dinner...but tacos are only served at lunch time..we had empanadas and pizza...and again wow so yummy. The best empanadas I have ever had...the pizza was super thin but so good. What we most enjoyed was our service... Our waiter was the same both times...but he took care of us..and gave us the impression that he genuinely cared about us and how we enjoyed our meals. We highly recommend this place..wish we tried the steaks.
