I bring in artesanal mezcal from Oaxaca and sell it locally. So I can't believe this was my first time here. It's great. A really nice selection of mezcal. Just as in Oaxaca, you have your choice of 1 or 2 ounce shots. And, since we wanted to try all of their house mezcal, we ordered only 1 ouncers. They were filled to the very top, and I'll tell you: they were probably just under what many places in SMA offer as a full shot. When you factor in the quality, it's definitely a remarkable value for true mezcal lovers. (Only rivaled by parties at my house!)
Food? Fantastic! Mi Mexicana loved it all. Don't come expecting anything fancy, but that's part of the charm. The food and mezcal is really special, and Oscar provided outstanding service.
