Our group of seven tried out Fuego Del Mar tonight. It was a fantastic experience of all seafood. Friendly service, great atmosphere and amazing food. We tried the stuffed snapper, grouper, lobster risotto and shrimp pappardelle. Great drinks, too. Definitely recommend.
Fuego de Mar is a wonderful new restaurant. They were able to easily accommodate a severe Celiac (gluten free) and offered many different substitutions on their menu. We had the Snapper, Whole Hog Fish, Roasted Vegetables, the Nutella Mousse, Lime Creme and the Roasted Fruit. Each dish was spectacular and delicious. Fish was perfect moist and flaky and the desserts, especially the lime one, were outstanding. We have already made plans to return and can't wait.
We used the private chef service several times over our 6 day stay on isla and it was simply amazing. Delicious food, prompt and professional service. I highly recommend.
