I've eaten here twice -- once with my husband in June of 2015 and again this past weekend. Both times we were dazzled, but especially on this last visit. The menu isn't huge, but everything we've tasted was extraordinary, put together with great imagination and superb local ingredients. Owner Javier Caro is one of the warmest, most generous hosts you could imagine; he also grew up mostly in San Diego so speaks English like a native. The pig ear tostada blew us away (and tasted nothing like my expectation.) The pig-belly pizza was delicious. On the alcohol front, we particularly loved the La Justina cocktails (tequila infused with grapefruit, lemon, cinnamon syrup, tamarind pulp, and dark beer) and the Lagrimas Negras oatmeal stout. The decor feels both chic and comfortable, and the location could not be more central -- just south of the intersection of Third and Revolucion. I cannot wait to return and eat more.
The food is top quality, fresh, organic ,home made!
Innovative , with excellent plate prep.
I strongly recommend coming and tasting a variety of plates, each with its own unique flavor ! Your taste buds will love you for it!
Just had one of the best meals of my life here. All the food is top notch, and the cocktails are super amazing! Make sure to try the whiskey sour, best I've ever had. Can't say enough good things about the place. I will definetly be back!
