There aren't very many English reviews for this place so I'll do my best to give my opinion. I have lived in both South Korea and Japan, places where cat cafes are very common and frequented by lots of people. They are very high quality for the most part and great places for cat people, and cats of course. Being a cat person myself I like to think of myself as a good judge of cat cafes, having been to them in 4 different countries now. On it's own merits I think this is a wonderful and amazing place! Very comparable to the ones in Japan and Korea. Perhaps a bit smaller than those places, but the cat room is well designed. All the cats, young and old, seemed very happy there. They make themselves very clear on whether they want to be touched or not and they will come to you when they want attention. There are plenty of cat toys around the room for you to use on the kitties. On the "Cat" part of this cat cafe, there is really nothing wrong about this place. Like others, it is a clean and family friendly atmosphere and all the cats inside are available for adoption and I was lucky enough to witness one kitten get adopted during my time there. On the "Cafe" side of things, this place is wonderful! I have always been a fan of the affogato drink (ice cream and espresso shot) and this place customized it as "Affomeow." How cute! Being someone who doesn't speak Spanish and is pretty naive about Mexico in general, I was pleasantly surprised by the other drink selections as well. There was something called "Egipcio" (Egyptian) coffee. My friend got that one but he said it was delicious. Chocolate has a lot of importance in Mexican/Mayan history so it was cool to see unique drinks like this on the menu. In Asia most of the drinks simply consist of various tea flavors and common coffee drinks. They serve the purpose of getting you into the cafe to see the cats basically. It's the same here but the prices are much better in Mexico than they are in Asia. Other creative menu items were the "chocolates" menu. Each item is named after a different breed of cat. Items on the menu are Bombay (chocolate), Bengali (Cardomom), Burmese (Chai), Siamese (Cinnamon, Mau (Mint), and Persian (White chocolate). All in all, for a cat cafe I was very impressed with the menu. There are also lots of merchandise items in the cafe for you to purchase such as posters, coffee mugs, cat shaped cookies, shirts, keychains, etc. When I went there was "Dia de los Muertos" decorations around the cafe because I went close to the holiday. Very charming place! No real complaints here about my visit. It's cleaner than most other places I've been to in Tijuana and all the decorations have a lot of thought put into them. Definitely go here if you're a cat person and have the opportunity!
