Been here twice and will likely be back. Lines are sometimes long and parking can be a challenge. All of the tacos that I had were good. Keep in mind that these are street tacos, not the large ones you've maybe been used to in the past. You'll need a few to fill you up if you're industrial-strength hungry
Of course I'm willing to make a long drive for tacos, especially since I've heard so many great things about this place! After a lengthy drive, searching for parking, waiting in a long line, and looking for a place to sit, I had even higher expectations for these tacos. These were supposed to be life changing tacos. But, I've had much better. They weren't bad, but for all the hype they got, expectations were far above reality. Not something I'd go out of my way for, again.
Arriving here, my party had to circle the building three times before we decided we were going to park next door at the Carl's Jr. A man said our vehicle was going to get towed so while my party ordered food, I went and found a suitable parking spot as some customers left this place. Lots of customers means something is great. As I walked towards the entrance, I see a Caucasian man smiling in excitement, so I asked him if I should believe all the hype I was hearing and he said yes. So the taco meat is grilled over a fire right in front of you, to me this is a big plus. Place seemed clean so I was happy. So as this ROCK STAR sank his teeth in to the carne ASADA like a great White shark would do to some animal when it was hungry, I could feel the juices of the salsa mixed with the marinated meat going down my throat, so so good.. Thing was, a little too much guacamole! Place is extremely busy which means it is a sign that something here is being done right but yeah too much hype, don't get me wrong, real good, but I expected more.
